Siroos Jamali (Brother).
Siroos Jamali was born in 1971 in Tabriz-Iran. He started his musical training seriously from 1985 by learning the "Tar" with "Davood Azad" and completed the elementary stage and "Radif" with this musician.
Due to his great interest in the artistic creativity and innovative methods of "Mr. Hossein Alizadeh" he attended his classes to complete his musical education. About the time he started learning the theory of music with the great composer and music scholar "Mr. Mohamad Reza Darvishi" and collaborated with him on some of his research projects in east Azerbaijan and still enjoys his precious guidance. |

Later on he took classical violin lessons for three years under direction of maestro "Zaven Yedigarian" to get more familiar with western music. Siroos has a trained voice and he is a multi instrumental musician. He also plays “Ney” which he studied under supervision of his father Prof. Firooz Jamlai when he was a teenager. Siroos is familiar with Azeri, Persian and western music and instruments such as “Flute”, “Balaban”, “Saze-Asheqi”, “Setar” and “Azerbaijani Tar”.
Writing poetry in Turkish and Persian is another part of his artistic activities. He has benefited the guidance of the great poet "Seyed Ali Salehi" in this field. His two poetry collections “Moon Was One of Your Names” and “Under the Sky of Your Scarf” contain his short poems.
His poem “Shapari” with his own music and the voice of “Mr. Mohammad Eftekhari” is published as an audio cassette by "Kargahe-e Museqi publications" and his most recent work “Occult corners of the dawn” has been released by “Barbad Music” .
Apart from his active concentration on music and poetry, Siroos has completed his academic studies in architecture with an M.A degree and he is currently on the faculty of Tabriz Azad University as a member of scientific staff teaching architecture.
