Remembering My Father

This CD is a lovely collection from my dearest friend and beloved teacher "Golnoush Khaleghi" and also it is a collection of her father's (Legendary musician Ostad Rouhollah Khaleghi) compositions with new arrangement by Golnoush.

 I used Ostad Khaleghi's handwritings from original music scores and some old photos from his family photo album and his signature to create a better connection with the cover and the music presented in this CD. I believe the handwritings makes this design very unique as I do not remember a CD ever been published with composers own handwriting as track names.

 The front cover contains a photo of Golnoush writhing music in her room as a portrait of her father in a golden frame is a reminder of her golden memories with her father as she works. Inside the room is just golden memories, the piano and the music and nothing else. The door frame is an old wooden frame mostly used in old Persian houses and I had to modify a photo taken by an artist in Iran to make it appear as it is on the cover.

Ey Iran

Ey Iran is another grate title from Golnoush Khaleghi. This CD is a new arrangement of Ostad Rouhollah Khaleghi's famous theme "Ey Iran".

 Ey Iran is a patriotic song written by Ostad Khaleghi and it is so popular in Iran as some people even mistake this beautiful song with Iran's national anthem.

 The CD contains the original performance by G.H. Banan and the instrumental version of the famous song.

 I used dark and light brown color combinations as I believe it is the color of the earth and I included four pictures from Iran's historical sites but the focus is

 mainly on the word Ey Iran with an internal desert form shaded color to connect the text to the historical pictures.

 Rouhollah Khaleghi's signature takes place in the interior cover and beside the credits and names the rest of the design is plane color with no exaggeration in

 graphic symbols and photos and I made the back cover as simple and plain as I could.
