I started to shoot some random frames with an 8mm Chinon camera (Super 8) around 1992 and I remember the processing of the film was a real pain so due to that inefficiency my super 8 works are very limited. I created a small studio in my room with an editing table and some light projectors and I was able to shoot more smother frames as I practiced and improvised on the equipment. I had no professional help other than some books with poor translation and soon filming changed to a time to time hubby and I focused on writing short subjects instead of  actually making them. I only managed to make 2 acceptable short movies as a non professional.

In the first one "A Dream Like A (la) String", my dear friend Hossien Fazel acted as the only actor of the short movie and he was playing a role of a Violin player. The movie is only 3.5 minutes and I used 35 pieces of short music and live sound as audio track and they are all synchronized frame by frame to the motion picture. I remember when I first showed the final result to my friends and family they said I need to use subtitles to explain what is going on, of course that was a joke. My love to filming  still remains however I am not doing any manual work like old days and now it is all about high definition video cameras and computer editing software and an apple computer.
